A different design and less RAM consumption. This is the new WhatsApp for PC .
WhatsApp has released a new app that promises a better experience for Windows 10 and Windows 11 users .
It is a UWP- type app , hosted in the Microsoft Store. This means that it can even be installed on an Xbox console .
The new app has a little redesign, but more importantly: WhatsApp for Desktop is now lighter and less hungry for RAM.
A weak point: for now the app does not have support to send stickers .
Although it is still in beta , you can easily get this app.
How to install it?
The new WhatsApp app is hosted on the Microsoft Store and can be downloaded for free.
Find the app ( here’s the link ) and install it on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC . Being an app from the Microsoft Store , this is very simple. You just have to click on “Get”.
If you did not configure your participation in the beta of the device mode, you will have to do it before accessing and linking your account via QR code.
Fortunately, WhatsApp gives clear instructions on how to do it in the same app.
