WhatsApp continues to improve the platform for the benefit of users and businesses.
Following the announcement to increase capacity within groups and launch a premium version for businesses , Meta ‘s messaging app will improve our chat communication, including the ability to edit already posted messages. Now, we will know which messages have been modified.
We had already had a first approach to this development, but WABetaInfo has gone a little further in the test, and they have obtained a screenshot that shows an “edited” sign in messages that have been changed after publication.
In version 2.22.22.14 for Android, available for Beta users, WhatsApp includes this label that identifies the edited message. According to the site, we will have a time threshold of up to 15 minutes to change the message.
However, there is no indication of when the change is applied to the chat, nor the timing of this conversation on the devices involved.
At the moment, this innovation is under test and there is no data on its arrival to all users, nor is there evidence of this in other versions, such as iOS or Windows.
