Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux are the protagonists of White House Plumbers.
HBO miniseries that will tell the Watergate scandal from the point of view of the men who organized the raid on the Democratic Party offices at the Watergate complex in Washington, triggering the events that led to the US President Richard Nixon resigns . You can see it below…
Harrelson and Theroux will play E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy respectively , one a former CIA agent, the other the financial adviser to Nixon’s re-election committee.
The series
White House Plumbers will consist of five episodes and be written by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck , writers and executive producers of Veep . It will be based partly on the public records of the case and partly on the book Integrity by Egil Krogh and Matthew Krogh . Harrelson, Theroux, Gregory and Huyck will executive produce alongside former Veep showrunner David Mandel , who will direct the miniseries. Among the executive producers also the director of Zombieland and Venom , Ruben Fleischer .
The cast will also find Lena Headey, Judy Greer, Domhall Gleeson, Kiernan Shipka, Kathleen Turner, Ike Barinholtz, Yul Vazquez, David Krumholtz, Rich Sommer, Kim Coates and Liam James .
