Ever since the release of Harry Potter and the Curse of the Heir, the play with which JK Rowling revisited the characters of her famous literary saga, fans have wondered when a film would be made.
The question is quite clearly “when” and not “if”, and, considering that the story unfolds 19 years after the events of the books (and films), the wait makes sense and is not a problem. Indeed, Daniel Radcliffe , Emma Watson and Rupert Grint HAVE to age to reprise the roles of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
Radcliffe, recently interviewed by the New York Times, said he is not interested “right now” in reprising the role of Harry in an adaptation of Harry Potter and the Curse of the Heir . But he left a glimmer of hope for the future:Never say never. It took the guys from Star Wars thirty, forty years to come back. In my case, only ten have passed. It’s not something I’m particularly interested in doing right now.
Chris Columbus , director of the first two chapters of the film saga, has said in the past that he would like to direct the film based on Harry Potter and the curse of the heir . For now there are no real obstacles to the making of the film, which, we repeat, will very likely be done sooner or later. Perhaps after the Fantastic Beasts saga has ended, the third chapter of which, Dumbledore’s Secrets , will be released on April 13. HERE the trailer.
