Apple will hold its Worldwide Developers Conference 2023 (WWDC23) from June 5 to 9.

The main event will be the keynote on Monday June 5 by Tim Cook . What do we expect from the company?

The helmet as a star

Apple is expected to present its mixed reality headset , known as ” Reality “, this device would have a great processing capacity to work independently of another device.

Perhaps the biggest problem will be the price, which is expected to be around $3,000.

Reality ” would also have its own operating system: xrOS .

The first big launch since the Apple Watch comes with doubts, even within Apple itself . Convince? We will see it on June 5.

Software and more software

WWDCs bring together developers from around the world, and Apple is ready to update its operating systems.

We will see new versions of iOS , iPadOS , macOS , WatchOS and tvOS .

In iOS 17, the possibility of installing third-party apps without the need for the App Store is expected, although this would be limited to countries in the European Union.

New MacBook Air?

Another hardware announcement could be centered around a new MacBook Air model , with Apple offering the 15” option.

A 15-inch model with the M2 chip could be announced at the event, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicts.

Power users hoping for a new Mac Pro might be left waiting, as Mark Gurman doesn’t think Apple will show a version with Apple Silicon at the event. Let’s remember, Apple continues to sell the Mac Pro with Intel introduced in 2019.
