Xiaomi’s human robot

Our “Metal Bro” is about 1.77 meters tall and weighs 52 kilos. For some reason, he is a Leo sign and, at the time of being introduced, he gave Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun a flower.

The humanoid machine has a face in the form of a curved OLED panel, can see the world in 3D, listen with two microphones, and identify 45 kinds of emotions from human vocal expressions.

Your body has a total of 21 degrees of freedom, which are enabled by 13 joints. It can reach a maximum moving speed of 3.6 kilometers per hour.

“The artificial intelligence and mechanical capabilities of CyberOne are all developed by Xiaomi Robotics Lab. We have invested heavily in R&D covering various areas, including software, hardware and algorithm innovation,” the leader noted.

The CyberOne is the second product to come out of the Xiaomi Robotics Lab, after the CyberDog.

Will it go to market?

Despite its revelation, the CyberOne will not reach the market in a massive way because it would cost between 89 or 104 thousand dollars.

The model of the robot is curious because Elon Musk’s Tesla has announced that in September it will present a similar model.
