The Xiaomi brand seeks to satisfy all types of users with the different lines.
Redmi has announced that each year it will launch two families of its Redmi Note mid-range cell phones .
Lu Weibing, head of Redmi , indicated on the Chinese social network Weibo that Xiaomi’s brand will follow an “iteration strategy” with two generations a year in its popular Note line.
This year it materializes with the launch of the Redmi Note 10 in March and the presentation of the Redmi Note 11 this October 28.
The statement can be confusing for those who have followed Xiaomi for years. In 2019, the brand also introduced two lines ( Note 7 and Note 8 ) in the same year. Instead, in 2020 we only saw the launch of the Redmi Note 9 line .
Why two lines per year?
Lu Weibing argues that the brand “cannot satisfy every user with a generation of cell phones.”
That is why Redmi aims to cover as many users as possible with different lines and various models.
He put for example that the Redmi Note 10 Pro focuses more on performance, while the Redmi Note 11 provides a better screen and overall experience, but with a less powerful processor.
Globally, the Redmi Note 10 was presented with four models, but the brand has launched another four more specific to important markets such as China and India .
This October 28, Xiaomi is expected to launch at least three Redmi Note 11 , but we do not doubt that these may have company.
